Dear NYC Principals and Administrators,

The new NYC DOE Loan Request and Enrollment Certificate (LREC) form for school year 2022-2023 is now posted on the DOE Non-Public School (NYSTL) InfoHub site. Schools participating in the NYS Loan Programs should complete this form as soon as possible and return it to the DOE NPS Payables as instructed by Friday, November 18, 2022. The form should reflect the same enrollment data that is submitted annually on the State’s BEDS report due each Fall.

The DOE is reimbursed based on the enrollment data. Submitting a completed LREC form on time is necessary to maintain participation in the NYS Loan Programs. Failure to comply as instructed with the DOE Loan Request and Enrollment Certificate form and/or the State’s BEDS report may cause a delay in a school’s ability to participate in early ordering in the late spring for the next school year.

The completed 2-page form should be scanned via email to [email protected] by Friday, November 18, 2022 to ensure continued participation and appropriate State funding for the loan programs. Schools should indicate their DOE four-character alpha location code in the “subject” line.

As always, feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any questions.
