At a time when the troubles facing Klal Yisroel seem to multiply by the day, the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah of America have issued a call for Klal Yisroel in the Diaspora to unite with our brethren in Eretz Yisroel and around the world in heartfelt prayer and outcry. We are urged to join together in a tefillah on Monday, the first Monday of Behab, this week, the week of Parshas Vayeira.
This is a unique moment for us to lift our voices as one, beseeching Hashem to bring compassion, protection, and redemption to His people. Please read the attached Kol Korei and join in answering the call of our gedolei Torah.
May Hashem hear our tefillos and bring yeshuos to Klal Yisroel.

9 Cheshvan 5785
In these days, as the troubles of Klal Yisroel multiply in every corner and encampment, and it has been more than a year that the residents of our Holy Land are beset with anguish and distress, in exile and captivity, and the blood of our precious brethren is being spilled like water, r”l, our ears recoil from hearing of the severe decrees imposed both spiritually and physically upon the nation of Hashem in Eretz Yisroel and in the Diaspora. The hatred of Eisav toward Yaakov grows in the world, and the enemies of Yisroel seek to destroy the remaining survivors. Above all, there are schemes and hostilities directed at Torah learners, wherever they may be, and the eyes of Yisroel are raised Heavenward, for salvation is in Hashem’s Hands.
Therefore, in light of the call from our gedolei Torah in Eretz Yisroel shlit”a, we join in and request from our fellow Jews, the residents of America, in all their communities, to unify with our brothers in the Holy Land and everywhere, in a gathering of prayer and outcry that will take place on Monday of the week of Parshas Vayeira (the first Monday of Behab, the eve of the yahrtzeit of Rochel Imeinu a”h), when holy communities and yeshivos will join with the people of Eretz Yisroel—they from there, and we from here—to cry out and plead before the One Who hears prayers, in a special seder tefillah arranged for this purpose.
May it be Hashem’s will that our voice of supplication ascend for mercy and favor to save us from all distress and oppression, and to hasten for us redemption and salvation.
