Agudath Israel of California is pleased to announce the hire of Rabbi Yisrael Gelb as its new executive director. Rabbi Gelb previously held leadership positions at other Jewish organizations and was a dedicated volunteer with the Agudah before taking on this new role. As a JD candidate at Southwestern Law School, Rabbi Gelb’s legal background will benefit the community in both government affairs and constituent services. Passionate about community service, Rabbi Gelb, will create a stronger voice for the Orthodox community in Sacramento, as well as in city halls across the state.
