Yesterday, Rabbi Shlomo Soroka, Director of Government Affairs for Agudath Israel of Illinois, shared a brief video update on the goings-on in his branch of Agudath Israel of America.
Rabbi Soroka relates many of the projects Agudath Israel of Illinois has been working on this past week, including the efforts put in place to reopen yeshivos and mesivtas in Illinois and his being the Orthodox Jewish representative on the city of Chicago’s advisory council for the reopening of faith-based institutions.
This short update provides some insight into the work Agudath Israel of Illinois has been doing these past months to help the Jewish community in Illinois emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
