Dear families,

Indiana was very close to passing universal school choice this year, but now that is up in the air. We need you to speak up today.

Indiana Governor Mike Braun and House leaders included language in their budget bill, HB 1001, to expand the Choice Scholarship Program to all students, however, the Senate removed it and the bill now sits in a conference committee to hash out the differences.

The bill is expected to be finalized this week, so time is of essence.

Please take a minute to fill out Agudah’s action alert and send a simple message to your state legislators: “Please return the universal choice expansion language to the final bill.”

We don’t ask parents for their proof of income when we provide children a free public or charter school education and we shouldn’t ask parents for that information if they choose to attend a nonpublic school.

Thank you for taking action.
