In anticipation of a large pro-Hamas demonstration before the proposed pro-Israel resolution scheduled to be voted on by the Aurora City Council on October 23, Agudah connected with Mayor Mike Coffman and Councilmember Danielle Jurinsky together with Rabbi David Arayev and Aurora community leaders to discuss safety concerns for the Jewish community. Agudah also coordinated representation from the Jewish community to join the City Hall meeting. In a room filled with hatred, a few Jews stood up with a clear voice of reason, including Rabbi Kaplan and other constituents.
