CEP Updates

Dear Principals and Administrators,

As we previously shared, the USDA expanded access to the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) by lowering the minimum identified student percentage (ISP) participation threshold from 40% to 25%. This means that schools who participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), and have at least 25% low-income students, will receive the full reimbursement rates between the federal reimbursement and the CEP State Subsidy. For more information and for our webinar about CEP, please see here.

The deadline for new programs and CEP is June 30, 2024.
