Dear NYS Principals and Administrators,
The deadline to purchase items to be reimbursed with EANS funds is Thursday, July 15. The items must be ordered and paid for by July 15, but if the item is backordered, it can be delivered later.
A few updates from a recent meeting with StateEd:
- SMARTboard purchases may be reimbursed as long as the installation is a separate (non-reimbursable) line item.
- Please note that that there may be delays in reimbursement as many applications were incomplete. Please ensure that you follow up with any additional requests or questions from the state in a timely manner.
- There are still many questions that remain unanswered that the state is working to clarify with the US Department of Education. We will share that information as soon as it is available.
