Our Team

Rabbi Moshe Matz serves as the Executive Director of Agudath Israel’s Florida office, a position he has held since 2004. Rabbi Matz, a native Floridian, studied in Yeshivas Ner Israel, Baltimore, and Yeshivas Kol Torah in Jerusalem. Rabbi Matz was responsible for community outreach while studying at Kollel Birkas Shmuel in Mexico City, before returning to Miami in 2001. Since 2010, Rabbi Matz has served as rabbi of the Aventura Shul in Aventura, Florida. Rabbi Matz also teaches in Bais Yaakov Miami.

Rabbi Avrohom Luban serves as the Associate Director of Agudath Israel of America, Florida office. He was raised in Florida, where his family is deeply rooted in the local community, and lives in Boca Raton with his wife and four children. Rabbi Luban received semicha from Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim of Queens, NY, and was a founding member of the Boca Raton Kollel.
