A few months ago I was speaking to a reporter about the future of school choice in a Biden administration. I responded that we were seeing signs of increased support for the issue on the state level and that is where the most significant policy decisions are made. We saw that this week as legislators in numerous states passed educational choice bills out of key committees. The last week of January was National School Choice Week, a positive and enthusiastic celebration of all educational options. Just days later, bills expanding existing programs and creating new ones advanced in statehouses in Missouri, Indiana, Kansas, Arizona, and Florida. My Agudah colleagues and our allies are working hard to ensure that these policies continue to move forward. Thank you to the parents and community leaders who have responded to the action alerts and reached out to your elected officials on these issues. I watched some of the hearings, and I am always inspired and moved by the compelling stories of the parents. Your voice matters.
