President of Agudath Israel of Illinois Rabbi Dovid Schnell making remarks following the announcement that the Agudath Israel of Illinois camping network will be named after his parents.
On Wednesday, Agudath Israel of Illinois hosted its annual dinner honoring the memory of two pillars of the Chicago Jewish community, Rabbi & Mrs. Yaakov and Rashie Schnell. Aside from a moving tribute to the Schnells, attendees were treated to a video presentation highlighting how the Agudath Israel movement takes people’s ideas and inspirational moments and turns them into transformational programs serving the needs of the community.
