Dear NYC Principals and Administrators,
Please see below for important information from the NYC Office of Pupil Transportation regarding the upcoming school year.
- Important information and access to various DOE applications can be found on the DOE InfoHub page HERE.
- Session Times– The session times application will open towards the end of May.
- Summer MetroCards– Please check the DOE InfoHub page HERE for the online application for Summer MetroCards.
- Non-Public School Calendars– The calendar application for the 2021-22 school year is not yet open. The official date the application opens will be communicated to all schools shortly.
- General Education busing begins September 13- Will not be available before Tuesday, September 7. If you are planning to conduct in-person instruction between Tuesday, September 7 and Friday September 10, you must select Alternate Day service on the applicable dates.
- New/Moving Schools: July 1 is the deadline to request General Education transportation for a new or moving school for service to begin in September. Schools submitting requests after July 1 will be provided with MetroCards only.
