Dear NYS Principals and Administrators,
The New York State Department of Education has announced that the 2022 January Regents Exams have been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. No decisions have been made yet regarding the 2022 June and August Regents exams and other state assessments.
In January, the Department of Education will ask the Board to adopt emergency regulations regarding the assessment requirements that students must ordinarily meet to earn a diploma. We will keep you updated with any new information as it comes out.
