Dear NYS Principals and Administrators Outside of NYC,

There is a new grant called the Learning Technology Grant Program. The grant gives funding to develop, implement, and share:

  • innovative programs that utilize learning technologies to personalize learning and/or increase access to high-quality, rigorous learning experiences (such as through online, distance, or blended learning), as well as
  • professional development programs to assist teachers and educational leaders in effectively utilizing learning technology to enhance teaching and learning.
This grant is not available for religious and private schools to apply for on their own, but the local school district must provide a way for nonpublic schools to participate in the development.

Your local school district is supposed to reach out to you for consultation. If you haven’t been contacted yet, you can reach out to them.

Additional information can be found here.

As always, feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any questions.
