Dear NYC Principals and Administrators,
Services must be requested by June 1, 2024 for any children that would like to receive special education services while enrolled in a New York City non-public school next school year. These services include PT, OT, Speech Therapy, Counseling, paraprofessionals, P3, SETSS, etc. If the letter of intent is not submitted, the student may not receive any special education services.
Please inform your parents that this form needs to be signed and sent to the Committee on Special Education by June 1, 2024. It should be sent to the CSE of the district where the school is located. It is recommended to send the form via email rather than mail, so there is proof of submission.
