MSA/CAP Payments Update

Dear NYS Principals and Administrators, 

As we have communicated in the past, the amount allocated in the state budget for the 21-22 school year was insufficient to cover the costs, so you had only received 96% of your 21/22 MSA/CAP claims.

We are excited to announce that NYSED has just informed us that they have started the process of issuing the 4% payment for the 21/22 MSA/CAP claims. They anticipate that the 21/22 payments will be issued by Monday, May 20, 2024. They hope to start the processing of issuing payments for the 22/23 claims shortly.
