Quick! What do you think of when you hear “Bnos?”

Shabbos groups, right?

And, yes, Bnos Agudas Yisroel’s Shabbos afternoon groups have entertained and inspired girls for generations. But Bnos of 5781 is so much more!

“We’re stepping into new shoes, filling whatever gap is needed,” explains Mrs. Chana Baila Hass, National Director of Bnos Agudath Israel. “Even though many groups can’t meet in person, it’s not all or nothing. There’s still so much that can be done!”

So, what’s happening in 5781?

For Bnos groups that can open in person, Bnos is supporting its leaders with a theme song, leader hotline, and weekly materials based on “Building Middos Together.” Chesed. . . Emes. . . Zerizus. . . Kiddush Hashem. . . and more. The middos are connected to the parsha with exciting stories and explanations.

But not all groups can open live, so Bnos is arranging an array of virtual programming, too.

Programs include Bnos in a Box (Bnos packages with a story, game, and nosh for each Bnoser), Bnos Bikur Cholim (phone connections between high school girls and seniors), Bnos One on One (high school Big Sisters connect with middle school Little Sisters, in person or virtually), the Bnos Hotline, an upcoming Tehillim program, a series of speakers about emunah, and much, much more!

Bnos is here to give chizuk to girls in all different venues. Now more than ever, girls need the magic Bnos formula of fun with a purpose.
