Dear NY Principals and Administrators,
The online requesting system for the 2022-2023 New York State Identification Test for English Language Learners (NYSITELL) is now open.
You can submit initial online requests for Session 1 at http://portal.nysed.gov/. Session 1 closes September 9, 2022. Requests submitted by September 9 will arrive at schools within two weeks after that closing date. After Session 1 closes, Session 2 will open right away. If you need additional NYSITELL materials, you can return to the request system throughout the school year, to the most recent session. Shipments of additional materials requested throughout the year are shipped out about once per month.
