Dear Principals and Administrators,
We are pleased to share with you an open letter to the Board of the Pulitzer Prize urging it to refrain from granting the award to The New York Times for its deeply offensive and flawed series of articles attacking these thriving communities. This letter was penned by KnowUs, a new, coordinated movement under the auspices of Agudath Israel, to counter misleading, negative portrayals of our communities and schools. Prize winners are scheduled to be announced this Monday, May 8.
As critical as it is to counter the negative perceptions, it is equally important to share the beauty and successes of our mosdos and communities. Please continue to share your successes with us. See here for more information about this important initiative.
As always, feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any questions.
