Pirchei is the boys’ youth division of Agudas Yisroel of America. Our mission is to create and implement innovative extracurricular programming to engender joy and pride in Yiddishkeit and ensure a thriving and vibrant future for Klal Yisroel. To that end, we run numerous exciting initiatives throughout the year including Chol Hamoed Hasmadah program, the acclaimed Mishna Rishona Mishnayos Program, various Siyumei Mishnayos with thousands of participants, Midwest Shabbos of Achdus, a 24/6 hotline, a highly popular newsletter, and much more!

With more than 50 branches across the country, Pirchei works in close connection with schools across North America to ensure that every boy reaches his fullest potential. Additionally, local branches provide weekly Shabbos programing, engaging learning opportunities, and exciting programs.

The Pirchei Hasmadah Challenge, tailored for boys in grades 3 – 8, encourages them to learn over their Pesach and Sukkos break. Boys accumulate points through daily learning and through an over-the-phone bonus program. Boys call in to hear special divrei chizuk from renowned Gedolim, original shiurim by acclaimed speakers, divided by grade, and captivating stories by world-renowned storytellers. Every participant receives a special reward in recognition of their dedication to learning during their days off. Moreover, there’s a grand raffle with 20+ exciting prizes. Winners are announced during a special Pirchei Live! Program.

The challenge emphasizes the importance of learning each and every day while fostering a sense of success and accomplishment in all participating boys. Forms are given out in schools and yeshivas – or to individuals upon request. Look out for the forms for the next Hasmodah challenge as these holidays approach.

Mishna Rishona

Mishna Rishona empowers our boys to independently learn mishnayos at their own pace. Facilitated by a phone system with engaging shiurim by Rav Fischel Schachter and an exciting points system, participants gain a genuine sense of accomplishment. Shabbos of Achdus

Each year, Pirchei hosts a captivating Shabbaton on a beautiful campus, bringing together hundreds of boys from different cities across the Midwest for an unforgettable and uplifting Shabbos. This extraordinary event is made possible through collaborative efforts, including participating madrichim from Yeshiva Bais Shraga in Monsey. The Shabbaton features engaging shiurim by renowned Rabbanim, hasmadah sessions, lively zemiros and musical performances, outdoor activities, and special sessions like the Super Hasmadah Seder, a dynamic Q&A with Rabbanim, and a beautiful Melave Malka. These experiences provide uplifting moments that participants will never forget, offering boys from Midwest communities a profound and impactful Shabbos that will resonate within their families and communities.
