As part of the Council for American Private Education (CAPE), we recently held a webinar on the different federal COVID relief programs, such as EANS, ARP, GEER etc.
Here is some follow up information from the webinar compiled by CAPE:
COVID Relief Bills of Interest to Non-Public Schools:
- CARES Act, March 2020 (GEER I and ESSER equitable services)
- CRRSA, December 2020 (EANS I and GEER II)
- American Rescue Plan, March 2021 (ARP EANS, ARP IDEA, ECF)

Treasury Department Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds:
Interested parties are able to view how much funding went to their state, county, and city/town. Private school leaders and advocates should reach out to local leaders, as many jurisdictions have not yet decided what to do with these funds.
