Dear NYS Principals and Administrators,
In a previous memo, we outlined what to do with unused Regents Exams for schools that ordered exams and ended up opting out and not using them. It has come to our attention that some schools ordered Regents through other schools, such as their local public school, and then opted out of administering the exam and never bothered picking them up.
If you did order exams through another school, but never administered the exams, please pick up the exams anyway and follow the guidance we shared to properly dispose of and/or return them. It should not be the responsibility of the public school or other schools to dispose/return the exams for you.
