Dear Parents and Educators of Children with Special Needs,
As per our prior memo, the New York State Board of Regents has proposed an amendment to the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education which will fundamentally change the process of receiving special education services by eliminating the right of children with IESPs to receive a due process hearing. This would limit the ability of THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN in New York State to receive special education services.
