Dear NYC Principals and Administrators,
You will be receiving MetroCards for students for whom you have assigned serial numbers in NPSIS. In addition, schools will receive an overage allotment for transportation to and from school for the spring semester. The Metrocards will be delivered to your school between January 3-21. The cards will be valid from February 1 to June 30.
The Metrocards will come along with instructions on how to document the distribution to students. The Metrocard serial numbers must be entered in the student record in NPSIS between January 18 and March 11.
