I am privileged to work for an organization that not only tries to address the larger communal concerns but also receives thousands of calls each year from individuals and treats them as Klal Yisroel’s concern. It’s those individuals – each of YOU – who make up our larger community that makes us strong. When you show up to a Siyum Hashas and fill up MetLife stadium, turn up to vote, or respond to an action alert to Congress, you make us strong. Now we are turning to you to make us stronger.

If you are on this mailing list, you likely have seen the ads or have received other emails about our upcoming campaign. We are hoping to raise $6 million in 36 hours next week between all of the state and national offices. Thanks to a group of generous donors, each dollar to Agudath Israel of America will be matched.

Together with our Washington office and other allies, my Agudah colleagues are collectively securing billions of dollars in funding for our families and institutions. They are standing up for our religious rights. And they are constantly pushing themselves to do more. Whether you live in Louisville, Kentucky or Lakewood, New Jersey, the Agudah is working to address your concerns.

It is our combined strength that allows us to overcome the challenges we face. So please help us become stronger…for you. Because of you.

What can you do?

1. Please donate to the Charidy campaign (the link is live, so please help us get a head start – no need to wait until next week!).
  • The various state Agudah offices are conducting simultaneous campaigns and several cities, Agudah staff, and divisions have “teams” as part of the national campaign. Please give to your own state Agudah office (e.g. Illinois, Ohio, Maryland, etc.) if you have one, or your city team (e.g., Houston, Atlanta, etc.). Also feel free to give to your preferred team(s) on the national Agudah page (mine is here).
2. Leverage your support by sharing the link to 3 friends. Tell them why you support a stronger Agudah and why they should join you in becoming a partner in our work.
3. It’s not too late to create your own team. Just send us (or your state office) an email with your goal and we will give you your own landing page to share with your friends and family. You can also create your own team from any campaign page on the Charidy website.
4. Send us your 30 second videos or written testimonials of why we need to ensure a stronger Agudah and you may find yourself featured in one of our many ads as we kick into high gear next week.
See the example below from Jason Bedrick of EdChoice, a longtime partner in our efforts to expand educational options, for all children.
