Dear Principals and Administrators,
Schools participating in the National School Lunch Program School must complete the 2025 Summer EBT data collection in order for the Office of Temporary Disability Assistance (OTDA) to issue Summer electronic benefits (SEBT) for their students.
See the NYSED website here for more information. Please carefully read through the guidance document linked at the bottom of that page which shows you exactly how to submit the data.
Students are eligible for Summer EBT if they attend a school with free lunch and meet household income requirements. Please see here for more information on income requirements and to see when students need to apply or when they’ll automatically receive the benefits.
