Dear NYC Principals and Administrators,

Please see below for important information from the Office of Non-Public Schools (ONPS) about nominating students in NPSIS for Title I and Title III services.

Nominating Students for Title I
The NPSIS Title I Educational Survey is open for you to nominate students. Please nominate your students by the end of June so your vendor may create groups and facilitate the start of services in September. While this is not a hard deadline, prompt completion of the process will support vendor readiness for initiating service at the beginning of the school year.

Nominating Students for Title III
The NPSIS Title III Educational Survey is also open. Students nominated for Title 3 services must have a Home Language Questionnaire on file.

Entering Qualifying Scores
If you do not yet have current approved assessment scores from this year, you may choose to nominate students based on your expectation that they will need academic support. Please note, that you will be required to enter Title I and/or Title III eligibility assessment scores by October 31st from an approved exam or school-based assessment.

Submitting Complete School Rosters
Please note there is a difference between having students on your school roster in NPSIS and nominating students for Title services in NPSIS. All your students should be uploaded to your school roster which can be found in the school roster tab (3rd one down) on the left side menu in NPSIS.

For NPISIS login support contact [email protected].

Detailed instructions for filling out the survey can be found here.
