Today in Agudah History
Today, 12 Sivan, is the anniversary of a conference of Rabbonim in Kattowice, Poland, in 5672 or 1912. This historic conference was the first time that rabbis from different strands of Orthodox Jewry gathered to form an organization to deal with the tremendous challenges that were facing the Jews of Europe. This conference was the birth of the Agudath Israel World Organization.
