Rabbi Ari Weisenfeld, director of Agudah’s Connecticut office met with leaders of the growing Chabad community in New Haven on June 29. The meeting was arranged and hosted by community askan Emmet Gilles. Items discussed included the importance of having a unified agenda for the legislative session, specifics of how Agudah can help their schools with the Department of Education, as well as other areas for collaboration such as voter registration, developing relationships with state representatives, and constituent issues.
