The New York State Department of Health and the State Education Department have released a joint memorandum regarding updated COVID-19 guidance for the coming school year. Please see the memo by clicking here.
In summary: While many recommendations are provided in the document, virtually all restrictions have been lifted as these recommendations are not binding. Those who are or become symptomatic and/or test positive for COVID-19 are asked to follow the CDC’s Isolation Guidance.
