Dear Agudah Activist:
As Israel proceeds to embark on a ground invasion of Gaza, we must urge the Senate to continue its support of Israel and condemnation of Hamas.
We are, therefore, calling upon our members to contact your Senators to cosponsor and vote for passage of a bipartisan resolution sponsored by Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) and Senator James Risch (R-ID) that will, among other things:
• Express support for Israel and its efforts against Hamas
• Reaffirm America’s commitment to Israel’s security and provide military assistance
• Reaffirm Israel’s right to self defense
• Calls for the safe release of all the hostages
• Condemns Iran for support of Hamas and global terror
• Call on U.S. to lead an international effort to condemn and isolate Hamas and Iran
As the Senate is now returning to Washington, it is expected to act upon this important resolution in the next few days. Please contact your Senators as soon as possible and explain how important it at this time is to show strong support for Israel.
