On Sunday the White House announced that President Biden would be relaunching the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

Rabbi Abba Cohen, Vice President for Government Affairs and Washington Director of Agudath Israel of America: “Having the faith based partnership program based in the White House will help raise the profile of the issue and centralize the program. A White House office, with jurisdiction over the agencies, can also lead to better policy coordination and consistency. All of this can be of benefit to religious organizations. What still needs to been seen is where emphasis will be given, and what substantive policies will be adopted, among the several priorities set forth in the President’s order.”
