Yesterday, YahalomNJ held a night out for mothers of children with special needs, at Kava café in Howell. The mothers were treated to a magnificent dairy buffet, and Yahalom swag to bring home. Dr. Marilyn Gordon, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan Chief Medical Officer, gave an informative workshop and Q&A session. Mrs. Victoria Dwek gave a presentation on quick and easy menu planning. Rabbi Avi Schnall, director of Agudah’s New Jersey office also addressed the mothers. The night ended with a beautiful Chinese auction with prizes for mothers and children.
